Matthew Clark is on a mission to help donors realize their charitable goals through creative gift planning. He has been in the estate and gift planning field for more than 15 years, working in the charitable and endowments division of PNC’s Institutional Asset Management Group before joining the West Virginia University Foundation in 2016 as the Director of Planned Giving. As an Accredited Estate Planner®, Matthew enjoys taking the time to learn more about each donor’s motivation to support WVU while exploring smarter ways to give using assets other than cash.

He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from Mississippi State University, his Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council of North Central West Virginia, the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh, and serves as the Treasurer of the Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council.

Bob Wetzel has become familiar with most aspects of non-profit fundraising from two decades of service in multiple development leadership roles, primarily as a major gifts officer for universities. His planned giving experience includes helping donors with gifts of stock and real property, income gifts, and those made from donor advised funds and retirement accounts. Bob has also been involved with annual fund campaigns, fundraising events, and grant seeking. He “totally enjoys” meeting and working with WVU’s interesting and generous alumni and other friends.

A West Virginia native, Bob earned a bachelor’s degree (economics) from Davidson College and his law degree from the WVU College of Law. He was a practicing attorney and legal administrator for more than 20 years before transitioning full-time to working with non-profits.

Carli Yoho’s passion is building authentic relationships. She enjoys connecting passionate people with meaningful opportunities and is grateful to be able to help guide others in the creation and building of their philanthropic legacy. Prior to joining the Office of Planned Giving in the fall of 2021, Carli served in positions at the WVU College of Law and Office of Admissions and Recruiting.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Carli earned three degrees from WVU and has become invested in Morgantown community. She now happily considers West Virginia her home.
